I love a great skin care line. But it's true, sometimes things get pricey. Here are some of my skin care practices for healthy, moisturized skin.
1. Overnight Cocoa Butter Mask: I use Palmers Cocoa Butter, and have for years. It's great for dry cracked elbows, lips, really anywhere. Rich with Vitamin E, this product literally feels like butter, and instantly hydrates my skin. It also helps with acne scarring, and evens out my complexion. Expect to pay around or under $4.
2. Coconut Oil Makeup Remover: Have a minute to kill in the kitchen while making dinner? Slab some Organic Coconut Oil on your face, and remove your makeup with a warm soft washcloth, or some gentle cotton while the sweet potatoes are in the oven. Coconut oil is smooth, natural, and refreshing. You can also apply more after removing your makeup for a hydrating mask. Spritz some water on your face, and your skin will have a hydrating indulgence. Expect to pay around $7-10 for one jar that will last several months.
3. Ice Mask: I got this super cute eye mask from Marshals, that I put in the freezer, and in the mornings when my eyes are puffy and irritated from allergies, I put this over my face for 5 minutes. I instantly feel more awake, and the inflammation is completely reduced. I bought mine for $3.75. So affordable, so easy, so worth it.
4. Witch Hazel: Witch Hazel is a great toner. Its all natural, helps reduce redness, evens my skin tone, removes dirt from my pores, and seriously, SO affordable. Expect to pay around $3.50.
